Meir Lieberman

Associate Attorney

Meir Lieberman is an associate at Cervantes Chatt & Prince P.C., where he works in the firm’s Association Law practice. He brings a thorough and data-driven perspective to his legal practice, informed by his previous experience as a financial analyst for a major New York-based retailer. This analytical foundation was further cultivated during law school when the University of Illinois Tax School selected him to author case briefs on newly published tax law. Meir expanded his litigation and advisory expertise through diverse clerkships with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), the Cook County Public Defender’s Office, and the law firm of Webber & Thies. While at the latter, he co-authored a scholarly article for the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Trusts & Estates newsletter. By integrating his background in finance, tax law, and public service, Meir provides his clients with a sophisticated and well-rounded approach to navigating complex legal issues.

Meir earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he was honored with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Class Action, Mass Action, and Complex Litigation. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the City University of New York. His professional involvement includes membership in the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), Chicago Bar Association, and Cook County Bar Association.
